디도서2:6-8

 

젊은 남자들도 이와 같이 권면하여 Young men likewise exhort

 

맑은 정신으로 생각하게 하되 to be sober minded

 

모든 일에 너 자신을 선한 행위의 본으로 보이고 In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works:

 

교리 면에서 부패하지 아니함과 in doctrine shewing uncorruptness

 

신중함과 gravity

 

순전함을 보이며 sincerity

 

남이 비난할 수 없는 건전한 말을 하라. Sound speech that cannot be condemned;

 

이것은 반대편에 속한 자가 너희에 대하여 나쁘게 말할 것이 없으므로 수치를 당하게 하려 함이라. that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.
