고전7:10(묵상)

 

하나님의 뜻대로 하는 근심은 회개를 이루어 For godly sorrow worketh repentance

다시 돌이킬 수 없는 구원에 이르게 하지만 to salvation not to be repented of:

세상의 근심은 사망을 이루느니라. but the sorrow of the world worketh death.

 

너희가 하나님께 속한 방법대로 근심한 것, that ye sorrowed after a godly sort,

바로 이것을 보라. For behold this selfsame thing,

그것이 너희를 얼마나 조심하게 하며 what carefulness it wrought in you,

참으로 얼마나 너희 자신을 해명하게 하며 yea, [what] clearing of yourselves,

참으로 얼마나 분개하게 하며 yea, [what] indignation,

참으로 얼마나 두려워하게 하며 yea, [what] fear,

참으로 얼마나 열렬히 갈망하게 하며 yea, [what] vehement desire,

참으로 얼마나 열심 있게 하며 yea, [what] zeal,

참으로 얼마나 징계하게 하였는가! yea, [what] revenge!

너희 자신이 이 일에 결백함을 너희가 모든 것들로 입증하였느니라. In all [things] ye have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter.
