묵상 (벧전 1)

 

벧전1:1 예수 그리스도의 사도 베드로는 본도와 갈라디아와 갑바도기아와 아시아와 비두니아에 두루 흩어진 나그네들

1pe1:1 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,

 

벧전1:2 곧 하나님 [아버지]의 미리 아심에 따라 성령의 거룩히 구별하심을 통해 순종함과 예수 그리스도의 피 뿌림에 이르도록 선택 받은 자들에게 편지하노니 은혜와 평강이 너희에게 더욱 많이 있기를 원하노라.

1pe1:2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

::  믿는 형제들에게 편지하는 것이다.  이 말씀은 미리아심이 믿음에 이르게 한다는 말씀이 아니다. 따라서 이미 믿음에 있는 자들을 하나님께서 미리 아시고 그들이 성령의 구별하심을 통하여 순종함과 예수 그리스도의 피 뿌림에 이르도록 선택을 받는 장면이다. 다음 구절을 보면

 

벧전1:9 이는 너희가 너희 믿음의 결말 곧 너희 혼의 구원을 받았기 때문이라. 

 

만일 믿음도 하나님의 선택이라고 해석한다면  이 구절은 나올 수 가 없다. 분명하게 하자면 선택의 결말이라고 해야 맞는 것이며 믿음의을치하를 하는 장면은 말이 안맞다. 

 

창세전에 이런 일을 준비하신 것은 창세전 천사들의 반역을 이미 보신 하나님께서 인간들을 통하여 새로운 세상을 만드시는 과정이다. 인간의 타락은 아담이 아니더라도 이미 예견이 되었으나, "믿음의 과정"을 통하여 "새로운 세상"을 만드실 것을 준비하신 것이다. 로봇이 아닌 "선택의 자유"를 가진 인간의 세상, 그리고 아직도 하나님의 편에 있는 천사들과 새로운 세상을 만드시는 것이 하나님의 계획이다. 만일 하나님의 로봇처럼 이미 구원이 이미 정해진 인간들을 만드셨다면 하나님의 기쁨이 가능하겠는가? 아마 선택의 능력이 없는 로봇들을 바라보시며 괴로움을 가지셨을 것이다.

 

 

벧전1:3 하나님 곧 우리 [주] 예수 그리스도의 [아버지]를 찬송하리로다. 그분께서 자신의 풍성하신 긍휼에 따라 죽은 자들로부터 예수 그리스도를 부활하게 하심으로 우리를 다시 낳으사 산 소망에 이르게 하셨으며

1pe1:3 Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

 

벧전1:4 썩지 않고 더럽지 않으며 사라지지 아니하고 너희를 위해 하늘에 마련된 상속 유업을 받게 하셨나니

1pe1:4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,

벧전1:5 너희는 마지막 때에 드러내려고 예비된 구원에 이르도록 믿음을 통해 하나님의 권능으로 보호받고 있느니라.

1pe1:5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

 

벧전1:6 비록 지금은 필요가 있어 너희가 여러 가지 시험으로 인해 잠시 근심하고 있지만 그 구원을 크게 기뻐하나니

1pe1:6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:

 

벧전1:7 이것은 너희 믿음의 단련이 불로 단련해도 없어지는 금을 단련하는 것보다 훨씬 더 귀하여 예수 그리스도께서 나타나실 때에 칭찬과 존귀와 영광으로 드러나게 하려 함이니라.

1pe1:7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

 

벧전1:8 너희가 그분을 보지 못하였으나 사랑하는도다. 지금도 너희가 그분을 보지 못하나 믿으며 이루 말할 수 없고 영광이 가득한 기쁨으로 기뻐하나니

1pe1:8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see [him] not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:

 

벧전1:9 이는 너희가 너희 믿음의 결말 곧 너희 혼의 구원을 받았기 때문이라.

1pe1:9 Receiving the end of your faith, [even] the salvation of [your] souls.

우리가 기뻐하는 것은 또 사도의 기쁨은 우리의 믿음의 결말 혼의 구원이다.

 

벧전1:10 이 혼의 구원에 관하여는 너희에게 임할 은혜에 대하여 대언한 대언자들이 부지런히 조사하고 탐구하되

1pe1:10 Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace [that should come] unto you:

 

벧전1:11 자기들 안에 계신 그리스도의 [영]께서 그리스도의 고난과 그 뒤에 있을 영광을 미리 증언해 주실 때에 그 영께서 무엇을 혹은 어느 때를 표적으로 보여 주셨는지 탐구하였느니라.

1pe1:11 Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.

 

벧전1:12 그들이 자기들을 위해 그것들을 수행하지 아니하고 우리를 위해 수행하였음이 그들에게 계시되었는데 그것들은 곧 복음을 선포한 자들이 하늘에서 보내신 [성령님]과 더불어 이제 너희에게 전한 것이요 천사들도 살펴보기를 갈망하는 것이니라.

1pe1:12 Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.

 

벧전1:13 그러므로 너희 마음의 허리를 동이고 정신을 차려 예수 그리스도께서 나타나실 때에 너희에게 가져오실 그 은혜로 인해 끝까지 소망을 가질지어다.

1pe1:13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

 

벧전1:14 너희는 순종하는 자녀로서 전에 알지 못하던 때의 이전 정욕들에 따라 너희 자신을 꾸미지 말고

1pe1:14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:

 

벧전1:15 오직 너희를 부르신 분께서 거룩하신 것 같이 너희도 온갖 종류의 행실에서 거룩할지니라.

1pe1:15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;

 

벧전1:16 기록된바, 내가 거룩하니 너희도 거룩하라, 하셨느니라.

1pe1:16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

 

벧전1:17 사람들의 외모를 중시하지 아니하시고 각 사람의 행위대로 심판하시는 [아버지]를 너희가 부르며 간구할진대 너희가 여기에 잠시 머물러 있을 동안을 두려움 가운데 지내라.

1pe1:17 And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning [here] in fear:

 

벧전1:18 너희가 알거니와 너희 조상들로부터 전통으로 물려받은 너희의 헛된 행실에서 너희가 구속받은 것은 은이나 금같이 썩을 것들로 된 것이 아니요,

1pe1:18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, [as] silver and gold, from your vain conversation [received] by tradition from your fathers;

 

벧전1:19 오직 흠도 없고 점도 없는 어린양의 피 같은 그리스도의 보배로운 피로 된 것이니라.

1pe1:19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

 

벧전1:20 참으로 그분께서는 세상의 창건 이전에 미리 정하여졌으되 이 마지막 때에 너희를 위해 드러나셨으며

1pe1:20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,

 

벧전1:21 너희는 그분으로 말미암아 그분을 죽은 자들로부터 일으키시고 그분에게 영광을 주신 하나님을 믿으니 이것은 너희의 믿음과 소망이 하나님 안에 있게 하려 함이니라.

1pe1:21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

 

벧전1:22 너희가 성령을 통해 진리에 순종함으로 너희 혼을 깨끗하게 하여 거짓 없이 형제들을 사랑하기에 이르렀으니 순수한 마음으로 뜨겁게 서로 사랑하라.

1pe1:22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, [see that ye] love one another with a pure heart fervently:

 

벧전1:23 너희가 다시 태어난 것은 썩을 씨에서 난 것이 아니요 썩지 아니할 씨에서 난 것이니 살아 있고 영원히 거하는 하나님의 말씀으로 된 것이니라.

1pe1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

 

벧전1:24 모든 육체는 풀과 같고 사람의 모든 영광은 풀의 꽃과 같으니라. 풀은 마르고 그것의 꽃은 떨어지되

1pe1:24 For all flesh [is] as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:
