마 19:28-30, 막 10:28-30

 

[예수]님께서 그들에게 이르시되, 진실로 내가 너희에게 이르노니

다시 태어나는 때 곧 사람의 [아들]이 자기 영광의 왕좌에 앉을 때에

나를 따른 너희도 열두 왕좌에 앉아 이스라엘의 열두 지파를 재판하리라.

또 내 이름으로 인해 집이나 형제나 자매나 아버지나 어머니나 아내나 자식이나 토지를 버린 모든 자는 백 배를 받고

또 영존하는 생명을 상속받으리라.

그러나 처음인 많은 자들이 마지막이 되고 마지막인 자들이 처음이 되리라.

 

And Jesus said unto them,

Verily I say unto you,

That ye which have followed me,

in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory,

ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones,

judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

 

And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father,

or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake,

shall receive an hundredfold,

and shall inherit everlasting life.

 

But many that are first shall be last;

and the last shall be first.

막10:28-30

 

¶ 그때에 베드로가 그분께 말하기 시작하여 이르되,

보소서, 우리가 모든 것을 버리고 주를 따랐나이다, 하매

[예수]님께서 응답하여 이르시되,

진실로 내가 너희에게 이르노니

나와 복음을 위해 집이나 형제나 자매나 아버지나 어머니나 아내나 자식이나 토지를 버린 자는

누구든지 지금 이 시대에서 집과 형제와 자매와 어머니와 자식과 토지를 백 배나 받되 핍박과 함께 받고

또 오는 세상에서 영원한 생명을 받으리라.

그러나 처음인 많은 자들이 마지막이 되고 마지막인 자들이 처음이 되리라, 하시니라.

 

And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you,

There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s,

 

But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time,

houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions;

and in the world to come eternal life.

 

But many that are first shall be last; and the last first.
