히12:22 - 24(묵상)

히12:22 - 24

 

But ye are come unto mount Sion,

그러나 너희는 시온 산과

and unto the city of the living God,

살아 계신 하나님의 도시와

the heavenly Jerusalem,

곧 하늘에 있는 예루살렘과

and to an innumerable company of angels,

무수한 천사들의 무리와

To the general assembly and church of the firstborn,

총회와 하늘에 기록된 처음 난 자들의 교회와

which are written in heaven,

하늘에 기록된

 

and to God the Judge of all,

모든 것의 [심판자] 되시는 하나님과

and to the spirits of just men made perfect,

완전하게 된 의인들의 영들과

And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant,

새 언약의 중재자이신 예수님과

and to the blood of sprinkling,

곧 뿌리는 피에

that speaketh better things than [that of] Abel.

아벨의 피보다 더 나은 것들을 말하는 피

 

에 이르렀느니라.

구약의 조상들은 시온산에 올라갈 수 없었으나

신약의 성도인 너희가 이르른 곳은 위 와 같다는 말씀이다.

즉 더욱 더 거룩한 곳에 우리는 도달 한다는 말씀이다.
